How we use AI
Human responsibility
AI-generated output is not treated as automatically accurate or complete. Material used in client work is subject to appropriate human review, testing and professional judgement. DumDum Digital remains responsible for the work it provides and does not present raw AI output as verified professional advice.
Confidential and personal information
We do not knowingly submit confidential client information, personal information or security credentials to public AI tools without an appropriate reason and suitable safeguards. Before using AI with such information, we consider necessity, minimisation or anonymisation, supplier terms, model-training use, processing location, access controls and client instructions.
Accuracy and limitations
AI systems can produce inaccurate, incomplete, biased or invented information. Outputs may therefore be checked against source material, documentation, test results or other evidence according to the importance and risk of the work.
Intellectual property
We consider intellectual-property and licensing issues when selecting and using AI-assisted tools. AI-generated material may be edited substantially or rejected where its ownership, provenance, licensing or suitability is uncertain.
Automated decisions
DumDum Digital does not use AI to make solely automated decisions about individuals that produce legal or similarly significant effects. A person remains responsible for consequential decisions.
Client transparency
We discuss AI use where it is a material part of a proposed solution, personal or confidential information may be involved, it meaningfully affects risk, cost or delivery, or the client has imposed relevant restrictions.
